Ninja Secrets of Losing Weight and Feeling Great

I try to take good care of my body. In the documentary Visions of the Future, Michael Kaku revealed that some scientists believe that there is currently a human being walking amongst us that will live to be 150 years old.

What Michael doesn’t know, is that person is me. I intended to be the oldest man alive by becoming the first person to live to 150 years.

Using patented ninja techniques, I have developed a system for antiaging and weight loss. Now, I share this highly guarded secret you dear reader.

1. Exercise
I have developed a strength training/ cardio based routine that is as follows:
Tuesdays: Benches/Chin ups/ 3.0 km run (1.5hours)
Thursdays: 3.0km run (30 minutes)
Saturdays: Pec/Upper Back/Abdominals/3.5km bike work (2.0 hours)
Sundays: Legwork/Bicep/Tricep/Abdominals (2.0 hours)

There are many articles that discuss the purported benefits of exercise, but I was particularly impressed with this article that my sister sent me. I was also quite pleased to discover that I had already adopted many of the measures it had recommended for living a longer, better life.

2. Craving Compromise
I do not believe in starvation or gastronomic denial. I believe whenever our bodies crave certain foods, it’s for a specific reason. Instead of denying your body of what it’s asking for, I believe in substituting it with healthy alternatives.

If I face a sudden sugar craving, I’ll drink some low fat chocolate milk, or I’ll eat a mandarin orange. No candy bars or sweets for me!

If I require a caffeine buzz, I consumer some Japanese Green Tea instead of coffee. Green tea is purported to have many health benefits. Considering how bad it tastes, it must surely be extremely nutritious.

Like Jack Lalane once quipped, “If man made it, don’t eat it. If it taste good, spit it out.”

Coincidentally, its awful taste helps me in curbing my caffeine addiction. I try to avoid consuming too much caffeine since it’s been reported that too much caffeine can result in sperm damage.

Bruce Lee only drink tea, milk or water. Considering his phenomenal physical conditioning, I think he is one example worth following. I drink a glass of milk and a glass of green tea everyday. My penchant for mandarin oranges is purely my own.

3. Not Overeating
It takes 30 minutes for your brain to realize that your body is being fed. Therefore, if I feel hungry midway or towards the end of a meal, I usually refrain from eating anything else while my brain sends the necessary signals to my seemingly ravished tummy.

As mentioned above, I do not believing in starvation as a means of dieting, but my belief in overeating is just as non-existent.

4. Walking
As mentioned in my previous post, I walk whenever possible. I am seldom idle on escalators and I wouldn’t queue for the escalator if the stairs are available.

I don’t drive, but even if I did, I wouldn’t drive to a nearby supermarket that was a 10 minute walk from my home. Walking to the supermarket increases physical activity while allowing me to save the environment and save money on gas.

Walking is a simple activity you shouldn’t take for granted. It’s a great form of exercise that can help you lose weight.

If you want to live a better, longer life, you don’t have make drastic changes to the way you live. Simply follow these simple tips and you’ll be as healthy as a ninja master in no time!

Remember; always consult your doctor or physician before embarking on any exercise or fitness regime!

  1. Hi Keisha,

Always nice to hear from you. I hope you are doing well.

I take a two-tiered approach to Craving Compromise – Substitution and Regulation.

If I am craving for a certain food, I’d try to take a healthier alternative in its stead.

If that’s not possible, then I’ll submit to my cravings, but carefully regulate how much I eat.

All me to give you an example.

I LOVE Ritter Sport, and I used to eat an entire bar of it in one sitting. Nowadays, I restrain my self to 1, or 2 rows if I’m feeling naughty.

But generally, I recommend making gradual changes the diet of those looking to lose weight.

Making too many drastic changes at once can be extremely overwhelming.
