Marcus Loh, Kevin’s father and an excellent guitarist himself, will also be talking about the Suzuki approach to the classical guitar. If you want to learn more about the Suzuki method for your child, this is a great opportunity you should not miss.
I also like the cozy and playful feel of the Little Arts Academy. I imagine that this will be an intimate performance. I’d like to attend this one, but I have a prior engagement (isn’t that always the case with me?). I’ll definitely go down if my evening frees up though.

An afternoon with Kevin Loh @TPGC 4th August, 5-6pm POSTPONED
Description:
The Toa Payoh Guitar Club has been the backbone of the classical guitar scene in Singapore. It was from this club that many guitarists (with exception of myself) cut their teeth. Kevin was previously a member at TPGC, and this performance is a triumphant homecoming of sorts for him.
I’m supposed to attend this one, but I have an appointment that ends on 5pm that day, and with the concert itself ending at 6pm, I’m afraid I may not be willing to make it on time.
TPGC has access to some pretty awesome facilities, so if you like the bigger concert feel, you will want to attend this one. It’s always nice to network and meet the TPGC members.
