Toa Payoh Guitar Club’s 37th Share Concert

The Toa Payoh Guitar Club (TPGC) will be holding their annual “Share Concert” this Saturday. This year’s concert will also feature special performances by the National Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) Guitar Quartet.

The TPGC is Singapore’s oldest and most established guitar club that is open to the public. It is a crucial and important club that adds vibrancy to the local scene, so anyone interested in learning more about the guitar scene in Singapore should check them out. It’s also a great place to network and meet other guitarists and enthusiasts.

Sadly, I have too many commitments on that day and will be unable to attend, but if you are free I highly recommend you check them out.

Kindly note that though TPGC has strong roots in classical guitar, they have also been widening their membership base to include electric and acoustic guitarists, so I’m not certain how much of the program will be classical. When I asked the organisers for more information, they were unable to provide me with a finalized program.
