Test Shots with my Sony E-Mount Macro Lens

Recently I bought a Sony, E-mount SEL30M35 macro lens for my Nex 5R camera system. Even though I took a Photojournalism module, and received a high distinction for it in my poly days, I’ve never considered myself  a photographer, and I still don’t.

It’s just a hobby I enjoy.

When I was a student, I did not have the money to invest in cameras and lenses, so I relied on my camera phone for over a decade.

I only bought my first ‘real’ camera, a Sony Nex 5R, about 9 months ago, and this macro lens is the first lens I’ve bought for it.

I’m very happy with its quality. It’s pretty sharp and it captures a lot of detail. I have been fooling around with it, but I haven’t really used it in the field. Here are some of my favourite photos so far.
