Deaf Russian Biker Comes to Bugis Street

I was at Bugis on Wednesday and found this intriguing Russian man near the OG Albert Street. He’s a hearing impaired biker who is trying to get into the Guiness Book of world records by travelling the world on his motorcycle.

His name is Yarets Valdimir Alekseevich. He’s looking for donations to help fund his trip around the world. You can find him at the above mentioned location. He’s got some English information about his travels on display.

Personally, I find the idea of travelling the world on a motorcycle to be free-willing and romantic. If you would like to help him or learn more, head on down to Bugis Street.
