My Electronic Direct Mail Technical Demo

Looking good in Outlook…

Recently, a graphic designer friend from my advertising past asked me how to create an Electronic Direct Mail.

At Ogilvy I’ve created a ton of Electronic Direct Mail(EDM) for clients that range from Nokia to Coca Cola, but it was a real treat to create an EDM for me.

This was merely a technical demo to show her how it’s done. It took me about 15 minutes to create and cost a whopping $0.00 to produce and ‘blast’ to a group of 10 people.

Ha! It displays properly on Gmail too.

It’s a shame I don’t sell crowns. Something tells me I could a make a killing with an EDM like this.

  1. Hi Dedrick,
Awesome. It really looks great and cool. Can you please teach me how to create a simple one because I am working in a non-profit organisation and it would be really helpful for us if we know to create our own EDMs for our events.

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

    Regards,
    Navee
