Injured my finger during ICT

Last Friday was my final day of my annual National Service In-Camp Training (ICT).

I managed to go 2 weeks with little incident then bang! I injure my finger badly on the last day. And on my fretting hand no less.

This is going to impede my playing for a while. A student of mine recommended that I get I drained. Unfortunately, when I saw the doctor on Sunday, he told me the blood had already clotted underneath. It’s too late to drain it.

He said he could cut it open to remove the clot, but somehow, that seemed counter-intuitive to me.

Aw well. I guess my students can look forward to my haphazard playing for the next few weeks.
